So ANOTHER food to stay away from is now the ever healthy (and one of my favorites) Pistachios! Oh no! Apparently the FDA has been telling people to not buy them for they are being recalled--one company had to give up 2 MILLION LBS of nuts! Holy moly that's a lot of nuts!
The recalled nuts represent a small fraction of the 55 million pounds of pistachios that the company's plant processed last year and an even smaller portion of the 278 million pounds produced in the state in the 2008 season, according to the Fresno-based Administrative Committee for Pistachios.
Committee for Pistachios...that's how much Cali loves em!
