Tom Sachs' Crying Kittys have been placed in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The street artist and visionary sculptor has his work in the will be there on the base of the Tower in the Trocadero temporarily, showcasing his new works at the Gallerie Thaddaeus Ropac. These fountain statues are actually made of bronze casting and are painted on the outside. There are actually 3 statues of "Hello Kitty", "Miffy", and "My Melody." I have no idea who the last two characters are, but Sanrio must be having the publicity of their lives with this one!
