Pond Images

Tan Ngiap Heng from Singapore is probably one of the most amazing, portrait photographers I have ever seen. His portraits consist of an array of dance, life, nature, comedy, and everyday things that resemble beauty in the finest way possible. How did I find him? Randomly clicking the "Next Blog" on the header.

Check out more of his images at his Official Website or his Blog

Future of Dubai

The future of Dubai can be seen here in this amazing architecture and layout. The majority of the architecture and funding has been laid out for the waterfront in amazingly rich region of the U.A.E., with architecture from renowned world designers like Labanon's Nadim Karam, Britain's Zaha Hadid, Europe's Rem Koolhaas and Frenando Donis, & India's Sanjay Puri and Mimish Shah (as seen below).

SLR Motion

The Nikon D90

The first SLR camera that shoots video. What an achievement Nikon has made. It should have been done a while go, but it's here and that's all that matters. Granted it is just the beginning so it will probably only get better, imagine the quality of video with the SLR feel. The 12 MegaPixel high definition recorder allows you to use any lens and get the same video quality as you would with taking a still picture. Base price is set at $1,000; www.nikonusa.com

The Spotlight On...Cuban Pete

Musical Spotlight: Cuban Pete- The Epidemic

This song has got feeling from the beat and the lyrics. Straight from the heart. No useless rap bullshit about fucking girls, doing drugs all day long, and just drinking til you die. If you want something different, check out this track from an aspiring rapper in Cerritos, CA. Not only that, but he is my cousin and he's got talent. Big upz to Kala Sunny on the beat.

The Man Behind the Graphic

The main image for the Obama Campaign has spread all over the world. Obama's face is probably going to soon be plastered all around and become a consumer image like that of Che Guevara, Mao Zedong, and Pancho Villa.

The man to thank for one of the best graphic images ever is the one and only street artist Shepard Fairey. Most of you know his work (you most likely wear it if you wear Obey clothing, etc...) but this guy is real low key. Apparently, he starting putting up these images illegally around street corners, walls, and fences and soon gained so much popularity that Obama himself said he liked the graphic so much he wanted it on the campaign trail with him. Essentially, the image has spawned Obama's election journey as the most aesthetically and artistically charged political campaign yet.

Risky Rock Business

Here we go with that huge Guitar Hero craze...

This time Hollywood-whatever director Brett Ratner (of Rush Hour series fame) got MLB's Alex Rodriguez, NBA's Kobe Bryant, Pro Skater Tony Hawk, and the ULTIMATE ATHLETE Michael Phelps to do a promotional commercial for the Guitar Hero series with massive inspiration from the Tom Cruise flick "Risky Business."

It's pretty interesting...I ain't gonna lie. Check it out,

The Czech Republic is SO Lucky

How lucky is the Czech Republic by getting Megan Fox on the cover of their top-selling magazine?!?!?

Crowd That Polling Booth!

Change the world. Make a big difference in our lives by not only creating history, but by electing the candidate who best represents yourself and this nation. I won't try to sway your vote at all, I promise...

Well, maybe a little.

Maxin' and Relaxin...

Man...this is for sure maxin' and relaxin'.  At the
Stuff Live gadget show in London on Halloween day, Hoverit Ltd. introduced the world's first hovering lounge chair. Defying gravity with the use of repelling magnetic forces in both the bed and base, this lounge chair is going to turn heads for sure when you are at the beach lounging ON TOP of the waves.

Apparently, the permanent magnets may also help back, muscular problems and headaches, so it will make you feel good too. Basically, it's like floating on a cloud. Price is set at £5,000.

Bonjour, mon petit chat!

Tom Sachs' Crying Kittys have been placed in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The street artist and visionary sculptor has his work in the will be there on the base of the Tower in the Trocadero temporarily, showcasing his new works at the Gallerie Thaddaeus Ropac. These fountain statues are actually made of bronze casting and are painted on the outside. There are actually 3 statues of "Hello Kitty", "Miffy", and "My Melody." I have no idea who the last two characters are, but Sanrio must be having the publicity of their lives with this one!

Now THAT'S What I Call A Tree House!

The Banyan Town shopping center near the entrance of Onoyama Park in Okinawa, Japan holds the Naha Harbor Diner, which is a life-size rendition of the country's famous Banyan tree. It is a 20 ft. tall tree with a pan-Asian restaurant held tight within the branches and trunk of the tree (it's not a man-made tree folks- it's the real deal). To get up in the restaurant, there is a spiral staircase in the back or you can take the elevator inside the trunk (wicked!). The restaurant caters organic foods from local grown farms.

Now that's what I call a tree house!

Flying Ballet?

One of the most synchronized "flights" from Swan Lake Ballet performed by the Singapore Dance Theatre... The air each person hits is like they have Nike Shox inside their feet!

The Endanger Zone...

The Mexico Water Monster nears extinction!

Holy schmokes! Our animals are going to slowly just disappear... This is the most recent of so many cases with some endangered species reaching extinction. People keep saying that humans are the main cause, but really now...how many humans live in such desolate areas where a lot of these extinct animals are? It's hard to tell what the real reason is... even scientists bullshit their way to give reasons why or don't even know. Whatever it is...I want my future kids to see these crazy creatures!
